We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with customers in the rubber and plastics industry within the Northeast region. You will identify new business opportunities, promote our products and services, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate understands the OEM buying experience. You should be comfortable developing dynamic strategies to assess customer challenges, find optimal solutions, and promote symbiotic growth. You will be working closely with our technical and engineering team to bring a consultative selling approach to customers.

Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential customers in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth. Ensure territory strategies are consistent with Da/Pro’s vision and strategic direction.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to showcase product offerings.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Build rapport and trust with customers to cultivate long-term partnerships.
- Other:
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is required.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with a strong preference for rubber, plastic, or engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing sales experience is required.
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of effective industrial sales techniques with a passion for learning new strategies
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks concurrently and to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
