**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team with a focus on growing our OCONUS customer base. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers within our target market. We are looking for individuals with a natural knack for connecting with the right people and closing deals.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the designated territory. This position will be focused on serving largescale Contractors doing work on US Standard outside the US. Examples are Contractors serving US Military Bases and US Embassies.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking efforts.
3. Build, grow, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by serving their quote request needs with a high degree of customer service.
4. Network and prospect effectively to ultimately build confidence in our ability to serve your customers well.
5. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including customer service and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and exceptional customer satisfaction.
6. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and differentiation.
7. Be effective using our CRM to track your business development and quoting activities.
8. Represent us at industry and networking events, to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
**Qualifications:**
1. Proven track record of success in sales to purchasing and electrical engineering buyer personas within OCONUS, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
3. Strong business acumen and the ability to learn, understand and articulate technical product specifications.
4. Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Familiarity with the electrical supply industry and the needs of OCONUS Contractors is preferred.
6. Proficiency in Xtuple, Creatio, and Microsoft 365 is an asset.
