Chamberlain Contractors is seeking a Sales Representative for the Maryland / Delaware markets. This person is responsible for growing Chamberlains business by identifying opportunities with new customers. As a front-line representative, the Sales Representative must communicate the value of Chamberlain’s services and partner with customers to guide them through their project from planning to execution to completion. The ideal Sales Representative is professional, cooperative, and motivated to deliver for our customers.
Responsibilities:- Identifying and selling paving, concrete and related service opportunities for new customers in the commercial, multi-residential, and municipal markets
- Visiting customer site to estimate job scope, measure property, document project phasing and determine accurate budget
- Preparing proposal and communicating project to customer
- Owning customer communication through project lifecycle including scheduling, execution, change orders (if needed), completion and invoicing
- Effectively transferring job scope and phasing to operating personnel and ensuring crews are meeting customer needs
- Team player comfortable working with field labor crews and executive management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects concurrently
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Assist in the formulation of sales and marketing strategies and executing defined sales strategies and targets
- Self-disciplined, being able to work and make decisions unsupervised

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
- Daily engagement with Customer Resource Management (CRM) software for lead and proposal tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technology proficient, including comfort with iPhones, iPads and related applications, video conferencing, and MS office
- Ability to work in a mobile environment
- Prior sales and construction-related experience is preferred, but not required
- Prior sales experience working with Commercial & Industrial Property Managers is a plus
