About the Job
As a Salesperson for Kowalski Companies, Inc., you will be responsible for servicing an established and potential customer base, ensuring product availability, and maximizing sales opportunities within a designated route. Your primary goal is to meet and exceed sales targets while providing top-notch customer service.
Essential Job Functions: Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Service and maintain a predefined route, visiting customers on a regular basis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Sell company products to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ensure Kowalski products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and merchandised for maximum visibility.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
- Prospect for new accounts.
- Special projects at Kowalski headquarters.
- Learn inside sales functions and provide assistance when necessary.
- Effectively utilize tablet inputting orders correctly & efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years previous sales experience.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move product inventory.
- Reliable transportation
- Employee drive to stores in their territory in their own vehicles. Must have and maintain a good driving record.
WORK HOURS: This is a full-time position. The demands of the business dictate flexibility regarding schedule; therefore, Saturday work can be part of the position. An average workday will consist of 8 hours per day, starting at 7:00 a.m. (start times can be subject to change).
