Job Description Summary
The Outside Sales Representative's primary mission is to develop and maximize the Ground Protection access business and grow market share within their assigned territory or region. This is achieved through a combination of new and existing customers which include utilities, utility contractors, civil contractors, general contractors, crane companies, oil and gas companies, and access contractors. They will do so by performing and leading sales efforts, and by working with their local Profit Center to ensure safe, efficient and superior customer experiences in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Sales Responsibilities:
Develop assigned territory via research, personal prospecting, cold-calling, qualifying leads, and following up on referrals that lead to ground protection rental and rental related services within the access industry.
Conduct site visits and assessments and use appropriate tools to develop optimal access solutions and pricing for quoting.
Provide sales support, training, and coordinate work with Outside Sales Representatives in the General Tool and other Specialty Businesses with regards to Ground Protection, particularly as it relates to the access business.
Management of current customers, enhancing relationships and on-going account development.
Identify and respond to bids for Ground Protection products and services within their assigned territory
Investigate and resolve any issues including contract, invoice, service, etc.
Review customer's accounts with accounts receivable on a monthly basis and resolve any issues.
Use CRM system in the management of accounts, sales planning, and scheduling of sales activities.
Operations Responsibilities:
Outside Sales Representative - Ground Protection will ensure that all contracts (and related information) is received by the appropriate Profit Center and support office personnel in a timely manner and that the information is high quality and meets company standards for accuracy and completeness.
E&D Responsibilities:
Work with PCM, national PMs, foreman and install crews to ensure that field employees are conducted in a safe and productive manner while meeting the customer's objectives.
Develop quotes by doing field measurements, take-offs, and estimating labor requirements.
Help with the scheduling of E&D crews and projects.
Manage mobilization & demobilization of equipment and personnel necessary to execute the given task.
Customer management. Keep our customer informed and "in the loop" at all times while each job progresses.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least four years previous sales and/ or management experience.
Customer service and account management experience required.
Knowledge of different phases of construction, equipment applications, features, benefits, production, operation and specifications required, with direct experience and contacts in the access industry preferred
Ability to travel extensively in the territory, including overnight, as needed
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with effective supervisory skills.
Able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel.
Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office suite of products
Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - 62,965.00
Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
