THE POSITION:
- Are you a motivated individual who wants to succeed in sales. Join us in expanding our client base and driving the company's growth as a key sales team member who plays a crucial role in developing new business relationships. Your responsibilities will include proactive prospecting to identify potential clients. You will perform cold calling, inside and outside sales, attend industry events, perform networking, and other sales strategies and methods to grow the client base and increase revenue. Sales Representatives promote services offered, skillfully negotiate rates, and oversee transactions from start to finish. Join us, you can play a vital role in propelling customized truckload, less-than-truckload, and import custom logistics services across North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Inbound and Outbound Prospecting, Sales, Business Development, and prospecting for new business via email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings from time to time to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential target markets.
- Rate and contract negotiating, and maintenance of maintaining margin standards
- Contract creation and contract administration
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at multitasking, a team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail is a must, along with an ambitious and enthusiastic attitude.
- Transportation Logistics industry experience is a plus
- Transportation Management System experience, TMS is a plus
- Entry-level, new college graduates or junior sales professionals are encouraged to apply.
