Weare hiring for a SALES PROFESSIONAL, TILE AND STONE INSTALLATIONSYSTEMS, to cultivate solid working relationships and new businessopportunities with partner distributors, commercial tiling contractors,tiling installers, specifiers, and other key business influencers, throughjob site visits, cold calls, distributor training, professional presentations,and exemplifying the ARDEX solution driven, "customer first"approach.
This is a field sales position aspart of our HOUSTON, TEXAS sales team, with a concentration andpreferred home base location of HOUSTON or NEW ORLEANS. Daily travel required throughout theterritory with some overnight.
Experience within the tile and stoneinstallation industry is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully launch and promote new products via hands on product demonstrations, presentations & professional product displays
- Drive lead generation through jobsite visits, lead generation services, cold calls etc.
- Develop and successfully execute field sales action plans
- Achieve and exceed targets, goals, and objectives, as established with Sales Manager
- Collaborate with Corporate resources such Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics etc., to deliver exceptional standards of service to ARDEX customers
- Represent ARDEX as an industry leader through exceptional professional standards, and a 'customer first' approach.

Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience and / or minimum 5 years knowledge of building materials industries is required.
- Knowledge of tile and stone installation systems is required. Tile installation experience is highly desirable.
- Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally
- Must be able to operate non power and power tools. Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
- Technically proficient. Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
- High level of energy and enthusiasm for the business and be customer-driven and professional
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory as per advertised amounts, including some overnight.
- Must be able to lift to 70 pounds on occasion, with a carrying capability of 55 pounds.
Education
- Minimum four (4) year college degree or greater is preferred, or minimum completed high school diploma with relevant industry work experience
