Summary:
The Business Analyst role is part of the Sales Intelligence Team within RMSI, delivering a quantitative understanding of our performance through sales analysis to define the right strategic direction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Region Sales Directors, District Managers, and other Region Directors with routine sales reporting, ad hoc support, and sales/share/distribution analysis.
- Evaluate brand/package sales incentives and suggest modifications for enhanced sales and profitability.
- Create and update sales presentations for communication meetings, retailer visits, and planning meetings.
- Provide monthly sales performance review material and analysis to Sales Directors and District Managers
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and accountability for metrics and results.
- Conduct training on tool utilization for the region team and management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 1+ years' of experience reviewing and analyzing sales data.
- Strong business acumen, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, work with large datasets, and distill analyses into relevant insights.
- Clear communicator with the ability to story-tell with data.
- Advanced Excel skills & experience with business intelligence/data visualization tools.
- Experience in consulting, accounting, technology, CPG, liquor, or accounting industry experience preferred.
- Beer/alcohol industry knowledge preferred.
