Sales Outreach Counselor
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
•Sales Counselor coordinates with the Director of Sales and Executive Director to develop an annual marketing action plan.
•Execute on marketing plan a quarter at a time, focusing on different avenues of sales and outreach.
•Communicate marketing needs in a timely manner to home office to market community in a manner that reflects our brand standard using quality resources.
•Maintain census and inquiry history by data entering all information into our CRM within 24 hours of transaction. All additional information such as deposits and move ins should be maintained on our occupancy report and updated daily.
•Sales Counselor coordinates with the Director of Sales to conduct market analysis for our local competitors.
•Schedules and conducts tours of the community and assist residents and families with placement into our community.
•Work together with the Director of Resident Services to ensure assessment is conducted in a timely manner and necessary paperwork is completed ahead of move in. The goal being 72 hours or more if move in permits.
•Sales Outreach Counselor coordinates signings with families and Executive Director, ensure all paperwork is completed and passed along to the required people as documented in our move-in process.
•Maintain collateral at the community and request additional material when supply is low.
•Follow up with prospects in a timely manner, following our next steps sales plan for cold, warm and hot leads.
•Communicates to all team members about future move in, giving an inside look at who the resident is prior to moving in.
•Maintains a call and mailing list for customers, referrals, and vendors.
•Discuss and review sales goals regularly with Director of Community Relations / Executive Director, communicating strategy and community outreach.
•Completion of weekly marketing report and communication of report as directed.
•Communicates to team members of when tours are scheduled. Additionally, will openly communicate when offsite so backup team can assist with walk-in tours.
•Answer phone calls in a professional manner, always following our phone etiquette guidelines.
•Uphold Fields Senior Living in a positive spotlight throughout the community by networking, hosting events, maintaining positive relationships within the community, and promoting our brand via social media.
•Sales Outreach Counselor maintains model apartments and walks building regularly to ensure the building is always tour ready.
•Develop strong relationships with an active and current resident lead base that will eventually lead to potential resident move ins.
•Maintains outreach accounts – 80 per month and 20 per week.
Additional Functions:
•Must possess qualities of leadership, tact, and adaptability to change. Must be neat in appearance, pleasant personality, be congenial to fellow team members, residents, families and the public in general. Must be capable of using own judgement and initiative in daily duties.
•Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
•Must be detail and team-work oriented.
•Must attend required in-services/workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.
•Must maintain referral partner accounts with professional agent decreasing in mind. Maintain accounts for non-paid professionals.
Qualifications for Sales Outreach Counselor:
•Must be Drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire.
•Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check and Health Screening including TB test.
•Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
•Maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.
•A passion for helping seniors, especially those living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.
•Experience working with Dementia residents.
•Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing in standard English.
•Able to work a variety of times to be flexible for scheduling of tours.
•Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
• The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living. Physical Demands and Requirements:
•Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout 50% or more of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
•Must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift.
•Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
•Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
