BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Operations Specialist provides the North American CCSG field sales organization with focused ongoing support of VMI Pro Services programs.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage equipment placement process to include:
o Guiding the sales team on correct equipment agreement to use based on research and understanding of customer type and solutions offered
o Ensure proper approvals based on analysis of cost as well as capex or opex determination
o Release equipment order for processing in ASI
o Store and index equipment agreements in document management system
· Generates ad hoc analysis and reports on various sales associate and customer information as requested by sales management, customers, and other functional areas. Applies advanced Crystal Reporting and Excel skills, such as complex formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups to deliver analysis.
· Maintain territory and account assignments in ASI as well as sales structure to ensure accurate sales performance tracking and system security/visibility.
· Partner with field sales organization and Parker Hannifin Connector Territory Managers to properly execute requirements of Parker’s Parkrimp, Stocklift, and Recycle programs to ensure qualification of 50% credit from Parker. Analyze customer orders and spend data to make recommendations to field sales on items to add to meet Parker requirements for participation in program.
· Research and resolve commission discrepancies. Apply knowledge of compensation system and various compensation plans to determine appropriate course of action and initiates communication to internal personnel and field sales management to resolve any discrepancies. Explain commission calculation (including base commission, high performance commission, bonus commission, accelerated commission, and quarterly true-up) as requested by field sales.
· Assist with National Account implementation efforts by comparing customer provided location information to ASI customer master information to identify all locations currently being sold.
· Manage daily passive sale error report. Research each entry to determine appropriate action and perform linkage of ASI account to AS400 account to ensure sales are credited to CCSG sales associate.
· Create and maintain all documentation regarding Sales Operations procedures and policies. Communicate any process or policy changes to field sales organization to include attendance on district conference calls to train associates.
· Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
· Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
· High School degree or equivalent. Some college coursework preferred.
· 5 or more years of previous sales operations, sales support, or related experience is required.
SKILLS:
· Knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required. Ability to utilize Crystal Reports or other report generation tools preferred.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
· Position requires strong time management, organizational & prioritization skills with ability to effectively multi-task.
· Detail oriented with critical-thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
· Able to make independent, fact-based decisions to resolve issues.
· Enthusiastic about working in a sales focused support environment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required.
· This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).
