Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales & Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Northern Virginia. This unique position combines the responsibilities of both a sales professional and operations support, offering a diverse and hands-on experience within a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive to succeed in sales while also having a keen interest in supporting operational functions. The role involves direct sales activities, customer relationship management, and some operational duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving a company van and maintaining a flexible schedule to meet customer demands and business needs. This is not a typical 9a to 5p schedule so having flexibility in your day-to-day schedule is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales:
- Drive new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients.
- Manage existing accounts and maintain strong relationships with current customers.
- Conduct in-person and remote sales meetings, presentations, and demonstrations as needed.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop sales strategies and achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Process orders, follow up with clients, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operations Support:
- Assist with day-to-day operational tasks, including but not limited to inventory management, order fulfillment, and coordinating logistics.
- Maintain and drive a company van, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are delivered to clients.
- Provide feedback and insights to help streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Customer Service:
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure a seamless experience.
Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Previous sales or operations experience is preferred but not required. Ideal candidates may have experience in roles similar to a sales intern, or operations roles like those held by Dave Miller or Emily Pullman.
- Ability to thrive in a flexible, varied work environment that is not bound by a standard 9-5 schedule.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to meet sales goals.
- Comfort with technology and proficiency in using CRM software, email, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 50 lbs) when needed.
- Other:
- Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours as needed (e.g., evenings, weekends).
- Must be based in or near the Northern Virginia (NoVA) area, with regular travel within the region.
