Sales & Operations Coordinator
Duties:
Sales/Marketing
- Creation of sales reports as needed.
- Serve as US marketing liaison in collaboration with central marketing division.
- Manage and coordinate marketing and advertising efforts.
- Manage inventory and ordering process of sales team supplies.
- Maintain sales representative territory assignments and direct changes with IT as necessary.
- Source marketing materials through USA suppliers.
- Showroom lead and coordinator.
- Testing coordinator.
Purchasing/Sourcing
- In coordination with European sourcing counterpart, monitor and track new items through all stages.
- Organize test results/product spec.
- Manage and track initial testing with internal/external quality labs.
- Create and maintain product information sheets.
- Order initial inventory and provide progress updates as necessary.
- Travels to China (number of trips TBD).
Trade Shows
- Collaborate on showroom design/layout with Creative Director, etc.
- Manage showroom expense budget.
- Manage process of ordering and coordinating
- Maintain daily tally of sample requests.
- Plan menu and order food for showroom meals, snacks, refreshments, etc.
- Assist salespersons with product presentations as necessary.
- Five years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to interface effectively to manage inter-departmental initiatives.
- Self-motivated and results driven.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma required, degrees, etc., an asset.
Salary
50,000 - 65,000 /year
