The company sells to athletes directly and as an original equipment partner of major brands in the active Outdoor Recreation industry that incorporate our hands-free hydration reservoirs and soft flasks into hydration backpacks and running vests. HydraPak also operates as Bottle Bright®, the natural and effective cleaning tablet, and Polar Bottle®, the original insulated sports water bottle for bike and recreation. Sales Operations Specialist's Mission:
As a Sales Operations Specialist, your mission is to empower the sales and finance teams with accurate, actionable insights. You will analyze sales data to uncover trends, opportunities, and inefficiencies, providing strategic recommendations that drive sales performance and business growth. Additionally, you will support the data structures, ensuring data integrity, facilitating user training, and optimizing system functionalities to enhance operational efficiency. Through cross-functional collaboration, you will work closely with initiative leaders and the sales team to provide critical metrics, manage sales operations, and facilitate effective communication of actionable insights. Your contributions will support business growth by leveraging data and technology to inform strategic goals and operational efficiency.
Key Objectives:
Data-Driven Insights:
- Gather and transform raw sales data into meaningful analyses and reports.
- Identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance.
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to sales and finance leadership.
Data Management and Improvement:
- Establish checks and balances to evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the data structures.
- Continuously seek ways to improve sales data management and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance system functionality within data management.
- Implement best practices for data management and system usage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Initiative leaders to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
- Prepare Sales presentations for S&OP activities - Forecasting, Demand Planning, Operations Updates.
- Work with the sales team to build promotions and manage documentation.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing to promote effective use of actionable data insights.
Support Business Growth:
- Maintain and support customer facing systems that enable efficient customer ordering.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations that contribute to sales growth and operational efficiency with sales and leadership teams.
- Help the company achieve its strategic goals by leveraging data and technology to drive informed decision-making.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and ERP systems to continually enhance your contributions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Co-manage the Acumatica support email box.
- Maintain an orderly digital filing system, creating replicable and referenceable processes.
- Participation in special projects and company initiatives as assigned.
- Provide support and training to users, addressing system-related issues and queries.
- With your detailed knowledge of Hydrapak’s business processes, you will provide backup support when needed to the current systems integrations.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, business, or equivalent required.
- 2 + years of experience mining data as a data analyst.
- Experience with ERP monitoring and data evaluation (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Acumatica, etc.)
- Experience supporting Ecommerce platforms. (ie. Shopify)
- Experience with data management and reporting in CRM platforms. (ie. Zendesk Sell)
- Experience with monitoring and evaluating data analytics platforms. (ie. SPS Analytics, JungleScout/ Cobalt)
- Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques.
- Experience developing dashboards and visualizations with data analytics platforms. (PowerBI, PowerQuery, Tableau)
- Strong SQL or Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
- Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
- Strong programming experience with frameworks, including XML, JavaScript, and ETL.
- Practical experience in statistical analysis.
- Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Salary & Benefits:
This position is based in our Longmont, CO office. The typical work hours for this job are between 9am-5pm, Monday through Thursdays with remote work eligibility on Fridays. Pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually with up to 5% bonus potential. HydraPak offers up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in the first year of service, 11 paid holidays, a range of insurance benefits starting the first of the month following a 30-day waiting period, and a 401(k) plan (with company match) following a 90-day waiting period.
