Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by coordinating key administrative functions, driving marketing initiatives, managing logistics for events, and enhancing team engagement. This role requires a proactive individual who can juggle multiple priorities, foster collaboration, and deliver exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Support
• Assist in the creation and management of marketing content, including social media posts and campaigns.
• Spotlight top sales performers through digital content and promotions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative swag and promotional items for events and team initiatives.
• Organize and oversee virtual engagement activities such as trivia, team-building exercises, and dealer photo submissions.
Sales Team Support
• Coordinate and communicate updates from management regarding any changes impacting the sales team.
• Assist with scheduling laser sessions and managing follow-ups for key sales initiatives.
• Manage inventory and ordering of swag items, including branded apparel for new Sales hires and restocking.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for role enhancements through surveys and other feedback mechanisms.
Event Planning and Coordination
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate logistics for large events, including travel arrangements, signage, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage event shipping, setup, and technical support.
• Organize annual gathering, focusing on team-building and strategic planning activities.
Administrative Support
• Handle tasks related to enterprise and car insurance management for sales-related needs.
• Support the ordering and distribution of materials for the sales team.
• Maintain and update records and documentation related to sales and marketing activities
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing support, event planning, or administrative roles (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
• Creative and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
• Office-based
• May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
• Some travel (10% or less)
• Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds at times.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
