Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Speed To Market Sales Manager to lead our SMU and speed-to-market programs. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, managing client relationship, and ensuring that our program resonates with our target audience. With a focus on strategic program management, the ideal candidate is passionate about alternative surf culture, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a proven track record in sales management. This position reports directly to the North American Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and Grow Sales Channel: Oversee and expand Rhythm’s speed-to-market potential, focusing on the brand’s capsule and SMU programs. Regularly assess feedback and market demands to refine our approach. Guaranteeing that our wholesale partners receive high-quality products, based on proven results.
- Strategic Program Leadership Collaborate closely with design, sales, planning and marketing teams to ensure the successful execution of SMU programs, including capsule collections. This includes demonstrating excellent timeline management skills to ensure dynamic program execution and facilitating effective communication across departments to promote cohesive operations. Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure effective execution of program outcomes in alignment with program goals and strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring clear communication and product alignment with their needs. Work directly with sales representatives to enhance overall performance and engagement.
- Market Analysis: Collaborate with the sales team to understand market trends and customer needs.
- Industry Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends while maintaining a deep understanding of our audience and the alternative surf and coastal lifestyle culture to inform sales decisions.
- Brand Strategy Implementation: Execute brand strategy for SMU and capsule collections, fostering long-term relationships with retailers to drive brand growth.
- Performance Tracking
- Track and analyze performance metrics, providing monthly targets and detailed reports to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Sales Performance Monitoring
- Work with sales management to drive SMU and quick-to -market sales growth that aligns with global brand objectives.
- Design Collaboration: Partner with design teams to ensure SMU and capsule products align with brand objectives and that all areas of the program are executed in line with brand strategy.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management within the surf apparel industry, preferably in SMU.
- Understanding of the product development cycle, particularly in SMU product creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with sales reps and key accounts.
- A passion for surf culture and a deep understanding of the coastal lifestyle
- Willing to travel domestically on an as needed basis
- Proficiency with B2B platforms, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
