What we are Looking for
We are looking for a Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets through L&M’s Core Values and competitive advantage. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and presenting those plans to the management team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet the goals and objectives of the Strategic Planning process as agreed to and/or adjusted by management.
- Set the standards for performance and hold the sales team accountable to those standards.
- Responsible for the selection, training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team.
- Sets the compensation system for the sales team.
- Establishes effective working relationships with other departments, and involvement in pricing products.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Attain the customer satisfaction measurement.
- Meet the sales goals.
- Motivate sales team to ensure they are performing effectively.
- Build strong internal and external relationships.
- Effectively communicate with employees and others as required in the daily execution of assigned duties.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Education, Experience, and Attributes
- 3 – 5 years of Sales experience with supervisory experience.
- Corrugated experience a plus.
- Degree in Business or Communications is a plus.
- Excellent social/communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships to obtain product knowledge.
- Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize for most effective results.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
