Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated B2B Sales Manager to source, sell to, and grow relationships with RV, Marine, and other mobile off-grid businesses. This candidate will be responsible for making our customers and company successful, owning a substantial portion of Renogy's revenue target. This will be a key role during what promises to be an era of explosive growth at Renogy - one in which the company will expand into new markets and channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for leading a variety of projects and day-to-day company operations including, but not limited to:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and prioritize target accounts, leveraging market research and customer insights to inform sales strategies.
- Set and conduct meetings with relative contacts and companies, own the entire sales cycle of contract negotiation, and ensure successful order volume.
- Build trusted, lasting partnerships with executives, key decision-makers, and influencers of various off-grid energy channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions to meet the needs of customers.
- Assess operational issues regarding competitiveness, staying current in terms of trends, innovations, and pricing.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts.
- Represent Renogy at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and cultivate strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred. (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales,
- Technical selling experience with a high technical acumen.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must possess a strong track record of closing a deal over $1M.
- Track record and examples of quickly building trust with customers of all backgrounds.
- Ability to negotiate in contracts, as well as excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementing skills.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal skills.
- Able to create realistic schedules and meet deadlines under stress and interruptions.
Working Conditions:
- Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift.
- Will lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week.
