Job Description
Experienced Sales Manager wanted for a global leader in heavy machinery manufacturing with emphasis on crane and lift equipment sales.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute sales plans to exceed targets for cranes (mobile and crawler) and lift equipment in North America.

Customer and Dealer Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and customers by delivering tailored solutions and expert support.

Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities in both established and emerging markets, targeting high-potential accounts and industries.

Product Expertise: Serve as a technical resource, conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and providing in-depth knowledge of the company's machinery, including cranes.

Sales Analysis and Reporting: Track sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity, delivering forecasts and actionable insights to leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align offerings with market needs.

Negotiation and Contracts: Oversee negotiations and secure advantageous terms while fostering long-term business relationships.
Qualifications:

Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales within the heavy equipment industry - focus on cranes & lift equipment is advantageous.

Market Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with the North American construction and material handling equipment markets and advanced equipment technology.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, developing key accounts, and managing complex sales cycles.

Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or 10 years experience; industry certifications (e.g., forklift or CE certification) are advantageous.

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across Texas & North America for client meetings, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
