Position Overview:
Point Management LLC is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for Borealis, a premier cannabis brand. This role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the cannabis market. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and fostering a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Inspire and lead the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and margin goals.
- Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and ensure a culture of accountability and success.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to align with company objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform sales tactics.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand Borealis into new markets.
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales initiatives and goals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with retail partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Provide regular performance feedback and implement training programs to enhance skills.
- Oversee the creation and execution of proposals, contracts, and orders.
- Maintain accurate and timely records within CRM systems.
- Organize and participate in retail events, pop-ups, and brand activations to increase visibility and engagement.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence.
- Partner with inventory and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align on overall business goals and initiatives.
- Track and report on sales metrics, market insights, and team performance.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8+ years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the cannabis industry or a similar retail/CPG environment is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting, margin analysis, and CRM systems.
- Proven track record of driving growth and managing high-performing teams.
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset.
- Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to compliance and best practices.
- Willingness to travel for events, meetings, and partner visits.
