Position Overview:
The Sales Governance Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing governance frameworks for the IT Services Sales department. The primary focus will be on defining measurable KPIs, establishing comprehensive sales matrices, creating a formalized sales structure for the sales team, and generating consistent status reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance Monitoring
- Define and document clear, measurable Sales KPIs aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and implement sales metrics frameworks to track individual and team performance, pipeline health, and revenue targets.
- Monitor sales progress and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Governance and Structure
- Create a formal sales structure that outlines roles, responsibilities, processes, and workflows for sales executives.
- Standardize operating procedures and best practices for sales and business development activities.
- Oversee adherence to governance policies, ensuring all sales activities comply with internal standards and external regulations.
Reporting and Insights
- Generate detailed weekly status reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze and interpret sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to present actionable insights for strategy refinement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in sales governance, sales operations, or sales enablement in IT Services or a related industry.
- Proven track record of defining KPIs and establishing performance metrics frameworks.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
