About the Job
Job Purpose:
We are looking to employ a driven Sales Executive to introduce company solutions to potential private equity organizations and their portfolio companies. The Sales Executive responsibilities include researching competitors, understanding the PE model and how they can benefit using CallTower, identifying opportunities to increase sales, and assisting in the development and execution of the PE Sales Initiative. You should also be able to answer private equity financial questions, in addition to customers’ questions regarding product pricing, availability, features, and benefits.
A Sales Executive candidate must meet or exceed sales bookings/revenue, sales profitability, customer acquisition and customer satisfaction goals.
Duties:
Must keep up to date with technology related to the solutions we sell and communicate those solutions
Cold call into private equity firms and leverage existing CallTower and any business relationships
Communicate with ALL teams (tech, project management, marketing, client services, executive team, etc.)
Support customers by assisting with orders internally with correct paperwork in a timely manner
Provide weekly sales funnel reports to management
Update his / her job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations focused on private equities
Understands what is required to successfully build a sales funnel focusing on private equity
Knowledge of Cloud Services specifically Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) to customers
Strong closing and negotiating skills a must with knowledge of financial terminology
Solid communication and presentation skills to audiences
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts using the company’s CRM tool
Knows how to translate product features into benefits that solve real customer problems
Able to articulate a unique value proposition to various levels within a private equity organization
Follow the established sales processes
Effectively maintain and keep current customer information and sales opportunities in the company’s CRM tool
Identifies and engages with key industry events and trade shows focused on private equity
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum five years sales experience in related industries, working with private equity firms is a must
Proficient in Microsoft Office365 and computer competent with the ability to learn and use software effectively
Proactive, collaborative, leader, ambitious, creative problem solver, analytical, versatile, and “thrives under pressure” are words that describe you
Established track record in successfully meeting deadlines while handling multiple projects
Creative and strategic thinker with strength in carrying that creativity and strategy into bookings / revenue
Ability to understand an ever-changing market
Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding and changing customer base
Ability to grasp and translate complex technical features and convey benefits and selling points
Experience working closely within the sales organization with a strong affinity for success
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across all departments and levels
Ownership mentality of role and projects
Knowledgeable with a range of sales methodologies and sales funnel management process
Experience with a range of CRM tools preferred
Must have the ability to generate and close proposals
Requires excellent one-on one and group presentation and facilitation skills

Excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills and relationship building are a must

Telecom, UCaaS, CCaaS, and IT services experience preferred
Ability to work independently and to motivate self
Commitment to establish a professional and collaborative working relationship within CallTower departments
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime during peak business flow
