About the Job
With minimal direction from a sales manager, the Sales Director is responsible for expanding and renewing business across an assigned portfolio of wholesaler accounts, while working to maintain the overall health of the relationship and business development to new accounts. The Sales Director will also manage the Healthcare Intelligence business, consisting of both account management and business development .
This role allows the seller to build on their strong client strategy skills, while driving account expansion and revenue growth. Using in-depth knowledge of Inmar’s solutions and constantly keeping abreast of the client’s needs, the seller consultatively presents account information and new ideas that solidify and grow the account.
The Sales Director demonstrates a constant desire to collaboratively solve problems and won’t rest until they find the right solution for all parties involved. Key qualities of a successful Sales Director include being excellent at project management and staying organized, understanding the importance of responsiveness and follow-through, being an avid learner and absorbing new information with ease, which allows for shorter learning curves. Strong administrative skills and follow-up are required in order to be successful in this role
Primary Accountabilities:
Influence (40%)
Manage existing healthcare commitments and relationships
Grow Inmar’s current healthcare solutions
Maintain relationships with all buying influences within assigned clients
Develop strategies that grow revenue and improve profitability
Manage internal communications garnering support and getting appropriate buy-in
Collaborate with assigned clients on product and service improvements that could deliver incremental value and bring Product Management into those discussions as necessary
Oversee contract negotiations and ongoing contract management and renewals
Strategic (30%)
Develop and maintain expertise on industry trends, technology, best practices, and regulations of relevance to the healthcare division
Obtain strong level understanding of Inmar healthcare product solutions with the ability to conduct demonstrations of technology in all sales stages, including late stages of sales meetings. Leveraging solution experts as needed
Thoroughly understand retailer's strategic goals and objectives and translate how Inmar’s products and solutions align with those objectives
Ensure retailer understands the value of the services available or being received to ensure a renewal with increased value to the company
Administrative (30%)
Maintain Salesforce.com records for all key account activity
Manage travel expenses and budgets, in line with Inmar policies
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related industry
Minimum of 5 years using a consultative sales approach selling healthcare solutions
Proficient in Google Suite
Proficient in Salesforce.com (CRM tool)
Ability to travel (25% of time)
