Sales/Estimator - Cascade Lumber Company

Cascade Lumber Company, a family owned and operated lumber yard, has been providing high quality building materials in Eastern Iowa since 1953.

We are seeking an experienced full-time Salesperson/Estimator to assist customers with their building material needs. In this role, you will review plans and generate accurate material lists and estimates on a variety of projects including homes, additions, garages, decks, remodels, agricultural buildings and light commercial buildings.

Your role as a Salesperson/Estimator

• Greet and assist customers
• Answer inquiries and product questions
• Review plans and generate accurate material lists/estimates
• Generate sales/purchase documentation for special order items
• Follow projects through completion to ensure customer satisfaction

What we're looking for in a Salesperson/Estimator

• One or more years of related experience
• Familiarity with the construction industry and building materials
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings
• AUTOCAD experience or ability to learn
• Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
• High School degree or equivalent
