Description
- Permanent position for an Aftermarket Sales Manager for the NYC, LA or San Jose area.
- Enable the next phase of corporate development for aftermarket sales for aerospace products.
- Drive growth by performing long term business planning, expanding the sales funnel, and developing and closing on repair projects.
- Identify key technologies and business partnerships in support of overall company growth.
- Lead new business development for a multitude of projects and clients.
- Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships and accounts within the commercial and military aircraft component marketplace.
- Identify, develop, and close on new business opportunities to promote significant corporate growth.
- Work with key executive stakeholders to set the overall global business and competitive product, technology, and growth strategy.
- Generate and contribute to the overall revenue of multiple programs and projects.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Program Management.
- Experience in aftermarket approvals – FAA PMA, DoD SAR and FAA DER approved repair specifications.
- Knowledge of fluid control products and material science.
- Proven results identifying business opportunities.
- Track record as a deal closer in highly technical sales markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience networking and building relationships with clients, customers and suppliers.
- Experience the Aerospace Industry with a large network of customers.
- Knowledge of variety of components, systems, technologies and processes within the Aerospace Industry.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more of the time.
