About the Job
A Sales Engineer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial equipment manufacturing is needed for a full-time position. The Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving sales within the manufacturing sector by providing technical expertise, building strong customer relationships, and offering tailored solutions to meet client requirements.
SALES ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and products to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and technical documentation to support the sales process.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide insights and recommendations on product enhancements or modifications based on client feedback and market trends.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the sales department.
SALES ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to comprehend and convey complex technical concepts effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
