Scope of Responsibility:
Fives ProSim is part of the Energy division of the Fives Group and offers process simulation software and services that allow industries to improve their operational efficiency, reduce their carbon footprint, to become more energy efficient and make the best use of available resources. It invests heavily in Research & Development, participates in several collaborative research projects, regularly finances theses, is a member of several competitiveness clusters… to provide its customers with the best possible tools.
And as at Fives, we all have our role to play to achieve our common goal, you will be in charge of marketing the company's offer in simulation, modeling and process optimization in the form of both software and services (process studies through simulation, specific software development, maintenance, training).
In conjunction with other members of the sales team, your responsibilities will include:
• Prospecting for new accounts in the USA.
• Monitoring and developing a portfolio of clients in the USA.
• Visiting customer sites to demonstrate software and present the company's services offer.
• Identification and analysis of customer needs through appropriate technical expertise.
• Qualification of contacts with the necessary discernment.
• Costing of technical studies and delivery times (with the technical team).
• Preparation of technical and commercial offers.
• Argumentation, negotiation of contracts and conclusion of sales.
• Monitoring the delivery and implementation of software at customers.
• Interface with customers to maintain after-sales relationships in a quality-of-service approach and build a long-term partnership relationship.
• Providing Technical Assistance services for customers.
• Updating the internal CRM tool.
• Feedback to development teams to improve products.

We are looking for a graduate of Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, with a first successful experience, if possible, on an industrial site. The candidate will also:
• Have a genuine interest in business and willingness to travel.
• Be rigorous and have a good understanding of the fundamentals of Chemical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of commercial simulation software: ProSimPlus, Aspen Plus…
• Strong customer skills, excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills to position yourself as a solution provider.
• Strong proposal, reporting and writing skills.
