About the Company:
Our client is a leading Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry specializing in advanced solutions for OEMs. Known for their innovative technologies and strong partnerships, they are seeking a driven Sales Engineer to manage their General Motors (GM) account.
Position Summary:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and growing the GM account, leveraging your technical expertise and customer-focused approach to drive revenue. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in delivering tailored solutions that meet GMs unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for GM, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the GM account to drive sales growth.
- Provide technical consultation to customers, aligning solutions with their engineering and production needs.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, R&D, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the company's value proposition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred).
- Proven track record in technical sales, account management, or a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Experience with metal forming, cold forming, or stamping is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and Tier 1 supplier operations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying connected with the team.
