Role Overview:
Sales Engineer will be a hardworking, self-motivated, results-oriented professional with a proven track record of the dedicated product. The Sales Engineer will specialize in technologically and scientifically advanced product understanding. They will use their technical skills to explain the benefits of their products and services to potential customers and to show how their products or services are better than their competition. Assisting in the knowledge development of the sales organization and assisting in closing sales across Grace Hill Products. The Sales Engineer will support all products within the whole Commercial and Multi-family sales channel with BDR and Sales Executive as well as external events, networking groups, and partnerships
Primary Responsibilities:
- Helps establish customer target list for sales/marketing outreach through external groups, networking, and partnerships
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of the product, function, and processes in closing sales
- Relate knowledge of the product in a way that is understandable to prospect and Sales Staff
- Assist with preparing proposals and all related customer documents (sales enablement)
- Assist in gaining valuable insights and data points to use during the sales process
- Provide direct support to the sales team as needed by collaborating to understand customers' requirements and provide sales support
- Help develop strategic direction on Grace Hill product training for internal sales teams
- Establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests of sales and customers/prospects
- Assist BDR with knowledge on industry and product so they can become a high-quality sales leads generation (future)
- Assist with customer demos by explaining or demonstrating feature and functionality and the pain it solves
- Lead training sessions for current sales staff to get them up to speed on the real estate industry
- Learn and apply the Challenger Sales Methodology

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales or similar experience
- Proven track record as an exceptionally performing Sales Engineer
- Results-oriented individual with a focus on tracking, measuring, and assessing individual performance
- Superior communication skills with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the consultative sales approach
- Analytical skills and aptitude to communicate ROI on technology and training tools
- Demonstrated core solution-selling skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communicator, able to build rapport and establish credibility
- B2B sales and/or SaaS sales experience desired
- Ability to travel if required
