Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Sales Engineer in Chicago, IL. The work will be done remotely with regular travel. This is a permanent job. Compensation is $120K/yr base salary ($180K/yr OTE) including full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, and 401K.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in Crystallization, Evaporation, and Drying technologies. This role involves leveraging technical expertise and sales acumen to drive business growth and deliver customized solutions that enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and performance for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients to understand their process challenges and deliver tailored solutions in Crystallization, Evaporation, and Drying systems.
- Technical Consultation: Provide technical expertise on the application and integration of equipment to meet production goals and enhance process efficiency.
- Sales Execution: Identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, including cost estimates, technical solutions, and project timelines, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept to delivery.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Sustainability Advocacy: Promote energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients.
- Networking and Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to strengthen the brand and expand the client network.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience in sales, engineering, or technical roles focused on Crystallization, Evaporation, and Drying processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of process engineering principles with the ability to translate complex systems into customer-friendly insights.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients and close deals.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in process simulation tools, CRM platforms, and data analysis software.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings and project oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in food, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with sustainable process engineering practices.
- Advanced degree or certifications in process engineering or sales.
