Job Details
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will engage with both existing and prospective customers to identify products within our client's portfolio suitable for new projects or customer needs. Additionally, they will be responsible for resolving any issues that may arise with current business. This position primarily involves sales of Controls and Pneumatics components manufactured by our primary suppliers: SMC, Epson, Gast, Baumer, Panasonic, Lenze, and Turck. It focuses on business-to-business sales rather than targeting private citizens.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential customers while maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing customers to increase market penetration.
Develop professional relationships with key customer personnel and expand the customer base through new account acquisition.
Secure orders from existing and potential customers through in-person visits, phone calls, and MS Teams video calls.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales strategies for applicable product lines to achieve annual sales targets.
Visit customer facilities, maintain contact, and consult to secure sales.
Analyze and research relevant information to respond to customer inquiries regarding product features, performance, application, substitution, and special requests.
Travel within the specified Arizona-based territory is required.
Position Requirements:
Proficiency in industrial automation solutions and the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge.
Proven track record in identifying customer needs, negotiating deals, and closing sales efficiently.
Customer-centric approach ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and satisfaction.
Ability to collaborate closely with sales teams, engineers, and other departments to achieve common goals.
Effective presentation skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
Regular travel within the assigned territory, with approximately 10% overnight travel.
Willingness to learn and adapt to market trends.
Proficient and disciplined in time management.
Sense of urgency and accountability.
Excellent customer relationship building, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office programs.
Strong team attitude with the ability to work productively in group settings.
Commitment to quality and getting things right the first time.
Valid Driver's License.
