Job Details
Job Summary:
Responsible for relationship-based sales to diverse markets of General Contractors / Owners / Engineers. Develop and implement sales and customer retention programs to optimize sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Plan, forecast, and report on sales and competitive pricing activities and tactics. Promote and market the company's advantages in the marketplace.
Reports To:
Vice President
Roles and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Identify information on new projects within defined and emerging markets throughout the Western USA.
Initiate sales calls on existing or new prospects daily, maintaining detailed call logs.
Build lasting professional relationships with decision-makers.
Plan and implement market-specific advertising and promotional strategies.
Coordinate with and develop direct and indirect reports.
Analyze sales and operating reports for opportunities and deficiencies.
Communicate and negotiate special preferences and product availability with top vendors in the region.
Take strategic actions to find solutions and achieve planned results.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong background in Construction Sales and General Engineering Contracting.
Strong sales management background and product knowledge, particularly geosynthetic materials.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to travel approximately 33% of the time.
Positive, self-motivated, with exceptional organization and time management skills.
Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record.
Polite, courteous, and tactful with the public.
Work Environment:
Most time spent sitting with frequent opportunities to move about.
Located in a comfortable indoor area; unpleasant conditions infrequent.
Travel approximately 33% of the time via automobile or plane.
