Currently seeking a Building Automation Account Executive / Sales Engineer to join a full-service mechanical (HVAC) subcontractor in the Columbus area.
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to help drive our mission to create smarter, more efficient buildings.
Job Details
- Estimate, plan, specify, and negotiate building automation and energy services solutions in both the new construction and retrofit markets.
- Develop long-term business to business relationships with BAS customers by providing consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors, and owners for building control and mechanical systems.
- Interface with company engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation.
- Provide industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting, and building engineering communities.
- Call on customers that include but are not limited to, data centers, hospital and healthcare facilities, government buildings, school districts, and higher education buildings.
Requirements:
- Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Building Controls and/or Mechanical systems experience, or familiarity through education if trainee.
- Professional business to business sales experience,
- Knowledge of DDC Control Theory & Applications and Mechanical systems
- Experience with Tridium Niagara or Alerton would be a plus
