Position Summary
The Sales Director will spearhead sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and elevate our market presence. This leadership role will manage a sales team, drive new business acquisition, and cultivate relationships with C-suite executives in various healthcare sectors, particularly within the durable medical equipment, independent pharmacy, and physician offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and engage new sales opportunities, focusing on expanding the company’s reach in the medical supply industry.
- Lead a sales team of 6, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.
- Foster relationships with key clients and stakeholders, particularly C-suite executives, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to strategically position our offerings.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns aligned with sales goals.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting using CRM systems, particularly HubSpot.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant professional experience is valued.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the medical supply or durable medical industry.
- Proven sales acumen with experience implementing successful sales methodologies.
- Strong management skills with a track record of leading a high-performing sales team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot is a plus) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $120,000 with an on-target earning (OTE) potential of $170,000.
- Benefits package includes 401(k) with 6% matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance (company covers 50% of premiums).
- Paid time off (PTO) and opportunities for professional development.
- Limited travel required, primarily for trade shows (approximately 20%).
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication capabilities, have a proactive “hunter” mentality for identifying new business opportunities, and be dependable and knowledgeable in the medical supply sector. They should thrive in a team-centered environment and be driven to achieve substantial results, aiming to scale the monthly revenue from $3 million to $12 million.
