Description:
Betches Media is looking for a dynamic Director of Programmatic Sales to lead revenue-driving initiatives across digital advertising channels. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our programmatic strategy, expanding client partnerships, and achieving measurable business growth. You’ll be at the forefront of our digital advertising efforts, collaborating with teams to deliver innovative solutions that resonate with our clients and drive impactful results. The ideal candidate is an autonomous, self starter that can hit the ground running!
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive both new and existing revenue across programmatic channels, continuously seeking and capitalizing on growth opportunities within emerging platforms and channels
- Set a clear vision for programmatic sales, establishing short- and long-term objectives to support sustainable business growth, and provide guidance on best practices and market insights to optimize campaign effectiveness
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients, focusing on delivering high-impact, consultative programmatic solutions, while acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders to help clients maximize their digital advertising investments
- Partner with internal teams—including Marketing, Product, Ad Operations, and Analytics—to ensure alignment on client objectives, product positioning, and market strategies
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing across teams to drive unified growth initiatives and maintain a seamless approach
- Regularly report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action as necessary to ensure ongoing success
- Represent the company as a programmatic expert at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, showcasing our capabilities and solidifying our brand presence within the market
- Take ownership of revenue targets, budget management, and resource allocation
- Stay up-to-date with digital advertising trends and programmatic advancements, leveraging this knowledge to position our offerings competitively within the market
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years experience in programmatic sales, with a comprehensive understanding of digital media buying, direct display, and programmatic advertising ecosystems
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals, with a history of building and nurturing high-value client relationships within the digital media space.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in leveraging data to inform strategic decisions, forecast trends, and optimize campaign performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, inspiring and motivating both direct reports and cross-functional partners, with strong influencing skills to gain alignment on shared goals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex programmatic concepts in a clear, compelling manner to diverse audiences
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, able to navigate ambiguity and adapt strategies to keep pace with industry developments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with advanced knowledge of Excel and reporting tools.
Compensation:
The expected annual base salary for this role is $130,000 - $175,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following perks below.
