About the role: The Sales Director is a crucial role within the Dataprise Sales team, dedicated to selling across the Los Angeles Metropolitan and surrounding areas. Leading by example, this role drives a culture of performance and measurements using defined sales processes and best practice methodologies to consistently achieve (and exceed) goals. What You’ll Do:
- Achieve revenue and profitability goals through net-new customer acquisition.
- Leverage proven sales methodology and related tools to generate opportunities and sell specific business line solutions and technical products that align with the needs of our customers.
- Create meaningful relationships that drive an understanding of the diverse issues faced by customers across various industries, as well as propose solutions that deliver measurable improvements to their business.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure positive outcomes for customers.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate prospective customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct scoping calls and needs analysis.
- Design solutions that address the customer’s requirements gathered in the scoping phase.
- Maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
- Create and execute actionable territory plans necessary to achieve goals.
- Proactive CRM management and accurate forecasting.
- Manage and execute all aspects of the sales motion.
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced sales team members.
- Help drive and assist with activities related to growing key partnerships.
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
- 15 years of prior sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to structure conversations and our solutions around achieving customer positive business outcomes
- Demonstrated expertise in exceeding new logo sales goals and managing customer relationships.
- The ability to handle complex sales environments.
- An understanding of IT terminology (in particular, Microsoft technologies) and the ability to translate technical jargon into non-technical terms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Fantastic interpersonal skills and an ability to coordinate multiple internal resources at once.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- An ability to manage and prioritize time well, juggling multiple tasks at once.
- A willingness to occasionally travel (daily and/or overnight).
Compensation:
- Dataprise is committed to maintaining a positive work environment by ensuring that compensation across the Company is managed in a competitive, consistent, and fair manner. Each Dataprise employee will be compensated in line with their specific scope of responsibility, skill level, and educational background, in addition to the projected impact on the success of the Company.
- We have a comprehensive Compensation Management System which establishes the guidelines we use in making compensation decisions and is comprised of compensation policies, salary structures, salary grades, incentive target guidelines, job descriptions, and career charts.
- This position’s Salary Range (not including commission) is: $115,000-$135,000 (NOTE: this is the range at the national average level; specific salaries offered will be adjusted higher/lower due to the local labor market of the candidate).
