About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Director of Business Development. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our doctor program, managing relationships with existing doctors, and strategically identifying and building connections with new healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and relationship-building skills, and the ability to analyze patient data to optimize engagement and support for our network of doctors.
Our client is leading the way in the Cannabis industry. This person will manage, lead and hire sales representatives in 5 different cities.
Responsibilities:
Doctor Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing doctors in our network.
• Regularly communicate with doctors to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities
for collaboration.
• Act as the main point of contact for doctors, providing support and ensuring their satisfaction with our partnership.
New Doctor Acquisition:
• Identify and target new doctors who align with our program goals and values.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard new doctors into our network.
Data Analysis:
• Analyze existing patient data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of weakness.
• Use data insights to allocate resources effectively and prioritize support for doctors with the
greatest impact on patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the data analytics team to enhance reporting tools and refine data-driven
strategies.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for doctor acquisition and
retention.
• Collaborate with the product development team to gather feedback from doctors and
contribute to the enhancement of our services.
• Coordinate with customer experience team to address any issues or concerns raised by doctors
promptly.
Training and Education:
• Provide training and educational materials to doctors to optimize their utilization of our
program.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to share relevant information with
doctors.
Travel: 30-40% of role
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for strategic decision-
making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
