What is a Sales Development Representative responsible for?
Uncover New Opportunities:
Research and identify potential clients through online platforms, directories, and databases.High-Volume Prospecting:
Conduct daily outreach via cold calls, emails, and other engagement tactics to generate interest in Top Echelon’s solutions.Qualify Leads:
Engage with prospects to understand their needs and determine if they align with our ideal customer profile, passing qualified leads to Account Executives for further follow-up.Maintain a Healthy Pipeline:
Build and manage a robust database of potential clients within the CRM, ensuring accurate documentation of all activities and touchpoints.Collaborate with the Team:
Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to refine prospecting strategies and improve the lead qualification process.Stay Informed:
Keep up with industry trends, market shifts, and competitive offerings to enhance prospecting conversations.
What makes you Top Echelon’s next Sales Development Representative?
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally in a high-volume outbound sales environment.
- SaaS or recruiting industry experience preferred but not required.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong cold-calling skills with a proven ability to spark interest and overcome objections.
- A hunter mentality: tenacious, driven, and self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach).
