About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our business development efforts through pre-sales activities, prospect research, and coordination of business development initiatives. You'll work closely with Business Development Managers to identify and qualify potential opportunities while ensuring an efficient sales pipeline.
What You'll Do
Sales Support:
Research and identify potential business opportunities and target accounts using market research tools and databases
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on prospecting activities and pipeline metrics
Support the creation of preliminary proposals and sales presentations
Lead Generation
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through various prospecting methods
Qualify initial leads through preliminary outreach and discovery calls
Assist in the development of targeted prospect lists and account prioritization
Track and document all prospect interactions in the CRM system
Create and maintain detailed prospect profiles and account research documents
Administrative Duties
Coordinate and schedule meetings between Business Development Managers and prospective clients
Support the preparation of sales materials and meeting documentation
Coordinate internal pre-sales meetings and maintain team calendars
Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information in sales databases
Work closely with Marketing to communicate marketing needs
Manage and schedule pre-bid and project kickoff meetings
About You
Must haves:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business or Communications
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales or sales support role.
Nice to haves:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business or Communications
Experience: 3 or more years of experience in sales or sales support role.
Your Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with market research tools and databases
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional phone manner
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Skills
Experience in B2B Sales or sales environment
Familiarity with sales prospecting tools and techniques
Prior experience coordinating meetings and managing calendars for sales teams
Knowledge of Sales automation platforms
Experience with data analysis and reporting
Background in lead qualification or inside sales
