Position: Sales Assistant
Are you someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, adept at juggling multiple tasks and priorities? As a Sales Assistant at our company, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our sales initiatives, working closely with our President to drive growth and success. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with experts in our field to craft compelling proposals, providing assistance with presentations, and contributing to strategic planning efforts.
Responsibilities:
Support the President of our company in various sales-related tasks to ensure smooth operations and decision-making processes.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop persuasive proposals tailored to clients' objectives and requirements.
Assist in creating engaging presentations and materials to effectively communicate our value propositions.
Contribute to strategic planning initiatives to identify opportunities for sales growth and process optimization.
Coordinate with internal teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Location:
Fully remote position.
While our main office is in Orlando, Florida, we prefer candidates based in central Florida or within Eastern or Central Standard Time zones.
Work Schedule and Availability:
Part-time position, with 5 to 15 hours per week.
Essential availability during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
Ability to lead and participate in 2-3 standing meetings per week, with additional meetings as required.
Must be responsive within 1-2 hours when necessary.
Compensation:
$35/hour
Required Qualifications:
Experience in sustainability programs, engineering, and/or local and federal government contracting.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with excellent analytical abilities.
Capacity to interview subject matter experts and translate their insights into compelling written content.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple proposals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, urban planning, public policy, or related fields.
Proficiency in developing submissions for proposal pursuits, including budgeting, gap analyses, work plans, and win themes.
Experience in post-effort analyses of business capture efforts.
3+ years of proposal writing experience in sustainability, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, or energy efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and internal stakeholder collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with municipal clients on sustainability projects.
Knowledge of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and GHG emissions reduction strategies.
Familiarity with bidding platforms like BidPrime, VendorLink, and Bonfire.
