Responsibilities:
- Work closely with non-profit organizations to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Develop and present our customized accounting technology solutions that address these needs and drive efficiency.
- Deliver exemplary presentations at Conferences, Workshops, Webinars, and internal company meetings.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver the technical features, competitive advantages, and business benefits of our fund accounting solutions.
- Leverage your accounting and financial expertise to provide consultative guidance and support to non-profit clients.
- Collaborate with our sales and engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation of our solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in philanthropic accounting.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for all things accounting and technology.
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years' accounting experience within the philanthropic sector or experience as a pre-sales engineer for an accounting software application
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related fields preferred
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of internal workings and relationships of different-sized community and other foundations
- Knowledge of, or experience in, change management and business process reengineering methodologies
- Comfortable with heavy client contact and initiating and building relationships with prospects, partners and clients
- Proven ability to engage effectively at the executive level
- Detail-oriented, well organized and driven in making a positive impact to the business and industry, while leading and motivating others
- Friendly, enthusiastic and professional demeanor
- Engaging and knowledgeable presentations
- Appetite for continuous improvement and learning
- Desire to travel: approximately 30-50% may be required
