**Job Title: Sales Consultant**

**Employment Type:** Full Time
**Travel Requirement:** Up to 25%
**Compensation Range:** $74,300.00 - $111,400.00
**Position Overview:**
As a Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our products and services by building strong relationships with new and existing customers. Your goal will be to become a trusted business partner for our clients, utilizing consultative selling techniques to maintain and grow sales of amenities, textiles, room accessories, paper, janitorial supplies, cleaning products, FF&E, and MRO products to hotels and other markets within your assigned territory. You will help our customers succeed while achieving your own sales and profit goals. This role offers a base salary with the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses based on KPI achievement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Sales Growth:** Identify and develop new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- **Customer Relationships:** Conduct sales calls and presentations to build and maintain solid customer relationships, increasing sales and category penetration.
- **Consultative Selling:** Utilize product knowledge, ROI analysis, system tools, and sales training resources to effectively target new prospects and market growth opportunities.
- **Account Management:** Continuously manage assigned accounts, taking corrective actions as needed to enhance the customer experience.
- **Customer Consultation:** Regularly consult with accounts regarding new products and services, company updates, holiday schedules, pricing changes, and new opportunities.
- **Issue Resolution:** Notify management of any jeopardized accounts or unresolved issues despite attempts to correct the situation.
- **Accounts Receivable:** Ensure customers pay invoices within agreed-upon terms by collaborating with the Accounts Receivable team.
- **Internal Communication:** Regularly interact with internal departments to provide necessary information for servicing customers, including advance notifications of changes, product movement, new business, and proprietary product updates.
- **New Account Setup:** Assist in setting up new accounts, including applications, order guides, pricing, order schedules, and files. Coordinate with other departments to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- **Sales Forecasting:** Accurately forecast sales results and trends for your specific territory and accounts.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred.
- **Experience:**
- 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven record of success.
- Experience in hospitality or supply/distribution sales is preferred.
- Experience managing new and existing customer opportunities and up-selling is preferred.
- Experience with trip planning, territory routing, and account prioritization is preferred.
- **Skills and Abilities:**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

**Physical Demands and Work Environment:**
- **Mobility:** Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone. Occasionally required to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
- **Travel:** Frequent travel required for appointments, training sessions, staff meetings, company events, and trade shows.
- **Vehicle Use:** Must maintain a valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance for business travel.
- **Remote Work:** Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
