Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales/Business Development Director to lead our business growth initiatives in the staffing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, account management, and team leadership, coupled with a deep understanding of the staffing and recruitment sector. This role requires strategic vision, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to achieve revenue targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business in the staffing industry.
- Identify and target potential clients in key industries such as IT, healthcare, finance, and engineering.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights into market trends and staffing best practices.
Business Development:
- Identify emerging markets, industry trends, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that attract new clients and enhance brand visibility.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build partnerships.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and manage a team of account managers and business development professionals.
- Set performance targets, monitor progress, and implement strategies to achieve team goals.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Reporting & Strategy:
- Analyze sales performance metrics and generate regular reports for senior leadership.
- Provide strategic input for business planning and market positioning.
- Stay updated on competitors and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of proven success in sales or business development, preferably in the staffing/recruitment industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
- Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of staffing solutions, including temporary, permanent, and contract staffing.
- Familiarity with various industry verticals and hiring trends.
