Full-Time: 30+ Hours Weekly/Temporary
Dates (10 Week Program):
~ May 28- August 1st
~ Last week: Monday-Thursday work week
~ Cannot miss first or last week of the program
~ 1 week off is allowed, but work will have to be made up another week
Work Days:
Tuesday-Saturday (5 days)
GPA Requirement:
3.2 or above
Majors:
Business, Marketing, Sales and Brand Growth
Undergraduate Classification:
Preferably Junior or Senior
Previous Work Experience:
Preferably 1-2 years
Sales Intern Role Description
A Sales Intern is a sales builder in the restaurant who helps to activate sales and brand growth experiences for the restaurant and for the community.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the activation of all Sales and Brand Growth virtual/in-person events for Summer 2025
- Plan and execute an upsell contest with the team to generate sales
- Cold and Warm Call catering guests to capture sales
- Create an upselling calendar
- Update Marketing Campaign POP to current promotions
- Plan and execute two marketing/community events per month
- Keep track of and submit all catering/business travel mileage into Jolt for reimbursement purposes
- Attend all weekly intern class meetings and supervisor 1:1’s
- Learn and use Chick-fil-A technology: ZippyApp, Jolt, GroupMe, Inform, @CFA intranet, POS register, Google Docs, The Studio, CFA App, and Spotlight
- Submit and Present an Elevator Pitch and final Sales Plan to Executive Team at the end of the program
In-Restaurant Responsibilities
- Open 1 day a week
- Close 1 night a week
- Work 20 hours a week minimum in restaurant Operations
In-Community Responsibilities
- Brand ambassador and relationship builder with local community members
- Identify and secure new catering guests, partners or event opportunities
- Support Sales and Brand Growth initiatives (ex: Thank You Notes, CARES recovery, Talent Recruitment Events, Support Center Corporate Tour)
- Knowledge Share with guests regarding upcoming promotions, events or giveaways
