We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and proactive Sales Associate to take charge of our Tier 2 and Tier 3 customer relationships. This role is pivotal in fostering strong connections, expanding our market footprint, and driving sales strategies across designated regions in the US and/or Canada.
Location: Phoenix, AZ (with 50% travel and remote work options)
Role Overview:
As the go-to person for Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts, you'll orchestrate sales and marketing efforts, cultivate lasting partnerships, and ensure alignment with our company's overarching objectives. You'll collaborate closely with Sales Directors, the VP of Sales, and our Fabric Designer to enrich our product offerings and meet evolving market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the entire sales journey, from generating leads to sealing the deal.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Collaborate with design and production teams to customize products according to customer requirements.
Utilize market insights and customer feedback to effectively position our products.
Represent us at trade shows, maintaining a strong presence within the industry.
Regularly visit customer sites to uphold stellar service standards and strengthen relationships.
Contribute to strategic planning and execution to exceed sales targets.
Provide comprehensive reports on market trends, sales performance, and strategic prospects.
Support internal teams in order fulfillment, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Key Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Capacity to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, coupled with exceptional organizational skills.
Familiarity with the upholstery or related consumer goods industry.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship building.
Ability to handle physical aspects of the role, including transporting sample bags.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the furniture, home décor, luxury products, or specialty fabrics sector.
A track record of driving sales growth and penetrating new markets.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Textiles, or a related field.
