Summary
Burrow is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to join our Retail team in Soho! This person will help support the daily sales operations of our showroom and will report directly to the Store Manager. The role should be occupied by a truly inspiring ‘do-er’ that will lead by example and instill great communication. This person will possess impeccable customer service and people skills and a solid sales background. They will always offer a top-notch experience for our amazing customers. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about furniture, interior design and home décor, and has the tenacity to drive sales and service.
- 2-4 years of sales experience in home/furniture retail (preferred)
- You have a passion for furniture, interior design, and people
- Expert customer service abilities; demonstrated passion for creating an unforgettable client experience
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow through
- Proven experience in consistently achieving sales goals; driven to meet sales targets and upsell
- Ability to effectively communicate in person, via written communications, and over the phone
Responsibilities
- Understand and communicate Burrow’s values and brand philosophy to customers through authentic, friendly engagement
- Strive for improvement in all areas of store operations, ensuring management is made aware of any issues or concerns that arise
- Demonstrate and explain the benefits and features of Burrow products as well as their assembly
- Perform operational duties to ensure the store exceeds sales and customer experience targets and maintains brand consistency
- Be a product expert, current on product information for the complete Burrow assortment
- Perform continuous client follow-up to ensure successful store performance
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Maintain SISAN (showroom in shape as new), to ensure the selling space is ready for the next client

Hourly Rate: $16 - $17
The offered hourly rate is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
