About the Job
Cedarhurst, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Associate at our Cedarhurst of La Vista community.
As a Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to connect with, and positively impact the lives of, our residents daily! You will be responsible for assisting the Sales Team to reach budgeted occupancy goals through the coordination of the move in process for new residents and moves/transfers of residents within the community.
As a Sales Associate, you will impact the lives of our residents by
- Creating resident contracts and coordinate the move-in process.
- Championing the move-in process and assist with new resident assessments.
- Attending and participate in all required trainings, team meetings, town hall meetings, online learning resources, and others as required.
- Providing tours to prospects, as needed.
- Programming pendants & activate key cards as needed.
- Maintaining all marketing packets, collateral, and brochures as needed.
- Communicating and interacting with residents, families, and team members in a kind, respectful, and effective way.
- Championing hospitality and deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
- Following up daily with new move-ins during the first week of residency to assist with orientation and troubleshooting issues/concerns.
- Assisting with the execution of lead-generating events as determined by the Marketing team and Director of Sales
- Coordinating the logistics, paperwork, and apartment readiness for all move-ins at the time of deposit through move-in.
- Ensuring effective communication is being utilized by community staff with the residents’ families concerning residents’ care, encompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.
- Working well with others and taking direction from management, as well as taking initiative with the capability to engage in conflict intervention and resolution for residents, families, employees, and others as needed.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand/move, communicate, and identify written information.The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently; occasionally lift and/or move up to 200 pounds with assistance.

To become a Sales Associate, you will need –
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or equivalent related experience preferred.
- Experience in sales preferred.
- Be able to demonstrate proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, and Fire Fox), Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word and Publisher, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and any HR related systems if applicable.
