A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SALES ASSOCIATE
At Fiorilli Construction, the Sales Associate is crucial in driving new business opportunities and supporting overall sales efforts. Each day begins with high-volume cold calling to prospective clients, leveraging diverse lead generation sources such as referrals, social media, and telemarketing. The Sales Associate qualifies leads based on specific criteria and arranges sales appointments with qualified prospects.
An essential aspect of the Sales Associate's responsibilities is managing and coordinating a calendar of appointments to optimize sales opportunities. They follow up with prospects to confirm meetings and provide necessary information beforehand. Cultivating new business involves attending events and conferences to promote the company and maintaining regular client contact to ensure satisfaction with project progress and outcomes.
Sales support is integral, encompassing preparing sales materials and presentations for client meetings, detailed record-keeping of interactions in the CRM system, and delivering regular updates and reports on cold calling and appointment-setting activities. Business development includes identifying qualified lead-generation prospects, contributing to sales strategies and plans, and serving as the primary point of contact in sales endeavors.
Customer engagement and relationship management are also important aspects of this role. The Sales Associate initiates and sustains contact with potential clients across various channels, implements drip campaigns to maintain lead engagement, and curates lists of target client prospects. They actively participate in client meetings, events, and conferences to promote company offerings and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SALES ASSOCIATE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or lead generation.
- Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and other relevant technology platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
