About the Job
The Sales Assistant provides support to our Sales Professionals at CD Peacock and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the sales process. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset to assist with various sales and client service tasks.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with Sales Transactions: Ring up products accurately and efficiently for clients, ensuring an exceptional checkout experience.
- Product Management: Retrieve products from storage or displays as needed by the sales professional to ensure timely service.
- Client Hospitality: Provide excellent client care by offering beverages and ensuring the overall comfort of clients during their visit.
- Bagging and Gift Wrapping: Prepare and package purchases with care, including bagging and gift-wrapping items to meet CD Peacock’s high standards for presentation.
- Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure that the sales floor, packaging areas, and hospitality spaces remain organized, clean, and fully stocked.
- Additional Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, appointment scheduling, and supporting sales-related activities.
Position Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with retail POS systems is a plus.
- Experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
