We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic B2B SaaS company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in hiring, training, managing, and measuring the performance of our sales team. This position requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales and a collaborative approach to working with digital marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training a team of 5 salespeople to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to meet and exceed sales targets.
Implement and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and individual salesperson performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine sales strategies that align with company goals and market conditions.
Work closely with the digital marketing team to create and execute integrated campaigns that drive lead generation and support sales objectives.
Continuously assess and improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Customer Relationship Management: Support the sales team in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities and provide strategic insights.
Experience: 4-8 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion of that time spent in a B2B SaaS environment.
Proven experience in hiring, training, managing, and measuring the performance of a sales team.
B2B SaaS Sales: Strong background in selling B2B SaaS products and understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in this market.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track performance metrics and analyze data.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
Leadership: Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive team environment.
