How You’ll Contribute:
- Work with and assist our Brokers that have access to customer specific Ritter Sport data and act as the conduit of this information internally at Ritter Sport.
- From data, consumption, inventory, or other sources, provide insights that help identify assortment, pricing, distribution and in store merchandising opportunities across channels and/or retailers that will enable Ritter Sport to grow the premium chocolate segment.
- Collaborating with Consumer Marketing, Sales and our Brokers, lead building sales execution & customer specific business building presentations that will be the ‘playbook’ for our route to market execution.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, and Brokers to create, update, maintain and provide required customer forecasts (everyday, seasonal, displays & innovation); Report and communicate forecast information internally and externally ensuring key forecasting timelines and deliverables are achieved.
- Assist Finance, Customer Success and Sales ensuring Customer Master Data is updated and accurate as well as assisting in addressing with customers & brokers.
- Assist Finance, Customer Success and Sales in addressing customer specific issues in a timely and an effective manner (i.e., customer communication specific to customer service or accounts receivable issues).
- Act as a liaison between Sales and Finance; assist with all planned promotional funding and reconciliation, and contract consolidation related to trade deals.
- Create and update customer specific promotional calendars that tie into our monthly forecasts and assists Consumer Marketing in planning their marketing tactics.
- Working with Consumer Marketing, assist in creating / updating monthly consumption reporting and dashboards from Circana and Spins.
- Translate consumption data into actionable customer opportunities for the sales team and brokers.

Required Experience:
About YOU:
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-years in category management, sales, analytics within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry. Confectionery experience is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent knowledge of syndicated data including Circana (IRi) and/or SPINS and first-hand experience managing and analyzing syndicated data.
- Experience in identifying category opportunities with retailers (i.e., Assortment, Distribution, Pricing and Merchandising).
- Experience in customer forecasting / demand planning analytics.
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate those insights to sales, brokers, and internal cross functional team members.
- Consistently demonstrated positive quantifiable results.
- Self-starter and independent thinker.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel (including formulas, pivot tables and graphs) and PowerPoint.
Willing to work in our Chicago office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday weekly with optional remote or in-office days Monday and Friday.
Salary Range:
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the candidate’s qualifications- including but not limited to specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, JD). The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the firm, and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $75,000 - $85,000 annualized, not including discretionary annual bonus and other competitive benefits.
